Congratulations to the 2010 Troy Sting on their District 3 Championship! The team dominated with a 9-2 win over Saint Clair Shores in the final. 🏆

We are saddened by the tragic loss of one of our Troy Sting coaches, Ryan Abraham.

Please join us on March 21,2025 at 7:35 PM at Big Boy Arena in Fraser for Stick to Strength benefit event.

Proceeds raised at the Rockers game will contribute to Ryan’s children, further his children’s hockey careers, and educate young athletes on mental awareness.

There will be basket raffles, jersey off the back raffle, cooler of cheer and more!

Over the weekend, our 6U teams played in the Royal Oak Outdoor Classic Tournament, where they fought hard through the rain, snow, and frigid temperatures. Both teams made it to the consolation game, giving us a Troy Sting match-up to end the tournament!

The game went to overtime, and Gold came out on top! Troy Sting ended the tournament in 3rd and 4th place.

Over the weekend, TYHA coaches and family members volunteered with Hockey Mentors for Special Olympics. They hold a large event over the summer, but they also hold free monthly skates for individuals of any age with any type of disability.

Also a huge shout out to the Alpena 45ers for getting on the ice before their game and helping out!

Volunteers are always appreciated and needed, so keep an eye out for an announcement for next months event!

The Troy United boys varsity hockey team rolled to a 6-1 win over the Thumb Area Legion (a united team of high schools in the eastern Thumb area) on Saturday night.

Prior to faceoff, Luca Caruso, who plays for the Troy Sting, was honored as the Troy United Youth Hockey Player of the Game. 🐝

Congratulations to the 8U Troy Sting Black for taking 1st place in the Livonia Gordon Butler Tournament over the weekend! 🐝🔥

And shout out to the 8U Troy Sting Gold for an amazing tournament run and finishing 3rd in their bracket!

Troy United defeated Farmington United 7-3 on Saturday night and before the game, they honored the Youth Hockey Player of the Game, Henrik Abrahamsson, who plays for the 8U Troy Sting🐝
