TYHA Joins Scarecrow Row at Troy Historic Village
TYHA Youth Hockey Teams Bring Team Spirit to Troy Historic Village’s Scarecrow Row
The Troy Youth Hockey Association (TYHA) is getting into the Halloween spirit! This October, players from several of our youth hockey teams came together to create a scarecrow for Scarecrow Row at the Troy Historic Village, bringing a little hockey spirit to this annual community tradition.
Building More Than Just a Scarecrow
While our players spend plenty of time together at the rink, some of the best team-building experiences happen away from the ice.
Players from across TYHA worked together to build and decorate our association’s scarecrow, sharing ideas, getting creative, and having fun along the way.
Activities like Scarecrow Row give our young athletes opportunities to connect with teammates, build friendships across the association, and experience what it means to be part of something bigger than their individual teams.
At TYHA, we believe youth hockey is about more than developing skills and competing on the ice. It’s also about building confidence, encouraging teamwork, creating lasting friendships, and staying connected to the community we call home.

Our finished scarecrow is now on display at the Troy Historic Village in Troy, Michigan, through the end of October!
We encourage all TYHA families, friends, and community members to stop by, check out the creative scarecrows on display, and show some support for our young hockey players.

Stronger Teams. Stronger Association. Stronger Community.
Whether we’re competing on the ice, cheering from the stands, or building scarecrows together, it’s the connections between our players and families that make TYHA special.
We’re proud to participate in community events like Scarecrow Row and appreciate the players and families who helped bring our scarecrow to life.
Thank you to everyone who participated, and don’t forget to stop by Troy Historic Village and cast your vote before the end of October!
